This week we will be discussing the Tachikaze double legion deck with Tyrannoquake and Magmaarmor. Our winning image is a swarm of attacks by using our army of reviving dinosaurs.

Starting with Tyrannoquake. His non-legion skill is to retire a rear-guard when he attacks and giving himself +5k. This is good for combo plays before getting legion as well as building up your dropzone to make legioning easier. Next is the legion skill. If he or his mate is retired during the battle phase you can give Tyrannoquake +5k and an extra critical. You can only activate this effect once per turn though. This will be the main skill to activate through out the match as combo-ing it with the non-legion skill you can give +10k and a crit every turn. Cost: 3.60 Mate Cost: 0.60

As a back up we run the legion above, Magmaarmor. His non-legion skill is to get +3k when another unit is in the middle column, which can make hitting high numbers easy and allows him to attack well even unboosted. His legion skill is what makes him a great support for this deck. "If your unit is put in the drop-zone during the battle phase Counter Blast 1 and Soul Blast 1 and call it to an open rear. This lets you easily do multi-attack chains provided you have the counterblast and soul. Mainly it will be used after you pressure your opponent to 5 damage with Tyrannoquake. Cost: 0.50 Mate Cost: 0.50
Total Cost: 20.8
Next since we would prefer to not use Counter blast we will use perfect guards, I have chosen to use Archbird over Paraswall as it is slighlty cheaper Cost: 1.80
Total Cost: 28
The last non-commons in the deck are Ancient Dragon, Iguanogorg whose skill is to let you call it to rear if its put in the drop zone from rear. He is really useful for combo attack plays early and later in the game. Cost: 0.30
Final Cost: 29.20

Deck Comments:
The deck is filled with cards that can retire your units and other cards to recall them to the battlefield. We run 15 killers in the deck (Gatlingaro, Dinocrowd, Knightarmor, and Tyrannoquake) and 12 revivers (Chaoticbird, Iguanogorg, Tyrannobite) The purpose of this is to be able to consistently get power boosts and enable multi-attack chains as the revived cards come back standing. There are 2 triplasma because they help a little with field consistency and its nice to have a grade 1 that isn't super important to your deck to ride.
Match ups: (VS. Deck win-loss)
- VS. RPBA+Mordred 4-6
Match up tips, For this match up I suggest being as aggressive as possible. Take advantage of Tachikaze's ability to make extra attack by reviving units during the battle phase to put your opponent to high damage really early or weaken their hand. If the opponent gets judgebau off your in a lot of trouble but if you can pressure them enough they might have to use judgebau as restand fodder which will help out a lot in the long run. - VS. Thing Saver + Alfred 4-6
Match up tips, This matchup really requires you to go all in. You don't have the power of a restanding vanguard like they do and they can snipe out important enablers in your deck like dinocrowd. If you can't push out cards from their hand or get their damage up early then they can easily build advantage to weather out your attacks. - VS. Perditions Dragonewt + DOTG 8-2
Match up tips, Perditions ended up being way easier than I thought, mainly if they are sitting on Dragonewt since they will retire your units but you can use the revive skill to get them back. Dragonewt even gives you a damage to help replenish your units. I think this statistic might be a little skewed because I play Perditions by starting Dragonewt and then ending DOTG which probably isn't the best for this match up. Anyway what I found is that because perditions don't have much advantage on their own you early rush tactics can really hurt them giving them either a ton of damage early or not much of a hand left to do anything.
Overall Performance:
The deck performed pretty average, RPBA and Thing SAver are hard to beat while Perditions is much much easier. I think what the bottom line is that the deck is really bad against deck that build advantage since you really wanna put them in a bad spot early. Also its important to note that the deck is bad against decks with on-hit starters like Judgebau because you are eventually forced to let them hit so you have counterblasts to use.
Tips for Mastering:
- Practice maximizing the number of attacks you can each turn using your killers and revivers.
- Don't be afraid to attack rearguards a rearguard is still a card they could have used to defend
- Manage your counterblasts, sometimes is better to take some damage or give up an interceptor so that they are forced to give you damage or not attack.
- Knowing when to switch into Magmaarmor is key to some victories.
Tips for adding money:
I'll be honest there isn't really any way to add money to the deck to make it better. What you can do is add money so that the deck plays more how you like it. For example you can cut some or all of the Magmaarmors for the breakride Spinodriver, or you could even include deck choices like Dark rex to really close out games with a restanding vanguard. You can also change out Archbirds for Paraswall if you really want all ancient dragons. The last change won't really add any money but you can change out Triplasma for Fortress Anemonite this will help you filter through your deck for extra consistency and help with getting cards in the drop zone for legion.
