Welcome to my first CFV Puzzle. In this series I will create puzzles based on possible game scenarios and ask my readers to try to solve them. I can't offer any prizes at the moment, but I would really like to in the future. So I hope you enjoy this series and stick with it not because of the promise of prizes but because you really like it. (For now the best I can do is mention you in the next post if you got it right.)
Rules:
- When you have come up with an answer E-mail me at jcbambi@gmail.com with "CFV Puzzle 1" in the Subject line. This is so that I can sort through them easily.
- I will only accept answers that come in before one week has passed, so since this will be a weekend article you need to submit an answer before the next weekend to be eligible for any prizes/recognition.
- The weekly puzzles will most likely coincide with my weekly Budgetguard decks so if you read those they might help you understand how to solve the puzzle.
Your playing against a Kagero Perdition player and they'e got the upper had having pushed you to 5 damage earlier while they sit comfortably at 2 damage. They placed down all their cards for an offensive last turn but you barely managed to hold out using up all the cards in your hand. Luckily for you they drove check two Grade 3s so you know they don't have cards in hand to guard you. On your turn you drew Ancient Dragon, Dinodile. Your board is Knightarmor - Tyrannoquake (Legioned) - Tyrannobite // Nothing - Iguanogorg - Chaoticbird, and you don't have any counterblasts left.
Your opponent's board is Whirldwind Dragon - Dragonewt(Legioned) - DOTG // Mareiko - Red Pulse - Gojo
Assuming you won't get any triggers and they will get a damage check critical trigger on their first damage and none after that how will you win? (You can't bank on living an extra turn)
Again, Email me your answers to jcbambi@gmail.com before next weekend. I'll keep track of all the correct submissions I get and try to figure out a prize type of thing, I can't guarantee anything right now but I will work on it.
Did you like the puzzle? Do you want to see more of this? Would you prefer to see something else? Please comment and help me help you.
Thanks for reading and good luck!
